It would be worthwhile trying to import lists containing a group fromĪnd I can't for the life of me see why MS can't add the ability to create a new contact group since the functionality toĮdit a group is already there, and works fine. I can't remember whether I set up the original contact list in Outlook when I was running Windows 8 or 8.1, or whether it was already in a list that I imported from Thunderbird. And you can change the name of the list, though unfortunately doing so doesn't give you a new group - the old one disappears. Adding people is easy when you press Add a list of existing contacts is displayed and you click on each one you want My contact list contained a group of four people, and I have been able to delete the original four and add 30 more in their place. Microsoft, are you listening, we as business customers would really want to have a universal e-mail group solution, so that on the go with our windows phone or at home using Windows 10 mail app, we could e-mail the groups we have entered into officeĪctually, DOES support contact groups, provided they already exist.

Not update properly (if you change the e-mail of one group member that belongs to a group in a Hotmail group account or if you add a remove a member, it will not sync properly). If you use groups from the consumer Outlook/Hotmail/livemail in Outlook 2016, they will The groups you have in the consumer Outlook/Hotmail/Livemail account, only work online on but of course not on your phone or in the Windows 10 mail app. Or on a computer that only has the WIndows 10 Mail app, you are totally out of luck, you have to remember and add the members in the group one by one in the To field. If you do a group in Outlook 2016 or on, it only works in Outlook 2016 and online.
Yep, Microsoft has still not figured out a solution for their customers to e-mail groups that would work universally.
